Northstars Ice Hockey Club

The Northstars Ice Hockey Club formed in 2001 and runs leagues at the Hunter Ice Skating Stadium in Warners Bay, NSW along with representative teams from as young as Atoms, all the way through to East Coast Super League and Masters tournaments.

The Northstars Club has hosted several Australian Championships, and has members in all state teams as well as representation in most Australian teams.

The Northstars Ice Hockey Club is a registered Not For Profit Association and is run by a committee of volunteers, from its membership.

The club runs a casual winter league, along with a fully-featured summer league with finals and awards. The local league is non-contact, as well as all representative grades under 13 years of age.

The NNSIHC has approximately 250 members, made up of men, women, boys and girls as well as non-playing members and volunteers. The Northstars club website can be found at www.newcastlenorthstars.com.au
